We had the pleasure of participating in Samsung's latest how-to guide on the future of retail. Excerpt.

How have the new constraints linked to the pandemic forced retailers to modify their customer paths?

The measures that have been taken so far are not for marketing purposes. Our kiosks, which count the number of people in a store and inform passers-by with a color code of the number of people in the store, are particularly popular. We have never received so many requests from potential customers as we have since the deconfinement. But Covid is only accelerating trends that already exist.

What digital solutions do you see as having the best future?

Retailers have never had so much need to communicate in real time with their customers. But beware: the content displayed in stores must be relevant, and it must be adapted to the number of people in the store, the weather and the available stock.
